My little beach buddy

 This girl LOVES eating the sand.

The last couple of weeks were so nice. Rischel and I went to the beach a couple of days in a row.  Once to China Beach and then to Ocean Beach. Mmmmmm love sunny weather.

This is her favorite place to play......

You can always find this girl under the counter. I have no idea why she likes it under there so much.

My fang babe

 This little caterpillar got her fangs in before her two front teeth.....sorta creepy, but perfect for Halloween.

 Check those things out!

 This week her front two started coming in, so she doesn't look quit as freaky anymore.

Santa Monica

 The only time I can get Opal to kind of snuggle with me is when she is in the ergo.........or asleep. How does one teach a child to be more snugly?

 Max tolerated Opal's ear pulling for about one minute before her attempted to head butt her off the elephant.

 So then we moved to the truck toy thingie.....which gave them each a bit more space.

 Opal loved being at Max's house and playing with all his toys in LA. You can see how excited she was.

 Max loved our running stroller and wanted to come for a ride with us everyday. Opal let him sit on her lap before one of our runs and he loved it!

 The Palmers happened to be in town at the same time we were. Opal was very interested in Avery.

 Opal loves making crazy faces on her favorite swings.

 We ate at Cafe Rio almost every night. Had to get our fix in.

 It was on this vacation that Jon and I realized we need to work on our time management. The day of Jimmy's wedding we decided to go to the pool since it was such a nice day. While in the pool we started doing the math of how long it was going to take us to shower and get ready and then drive to the wedding.....in LA traffic. Oh man we pushed it really close.  Opal sure does like her some pooling.

 We made it just in time for the ring ceremony. Check out the multiple rolls on her her forearm.

 Opal has taken to biting anything that goes in her mouth.......be warned.

Thanks Jimmy for getting married so we had an excuse to come hang out with friends in the sun!

Pool time with Max and Opal

In LA we stayed with our good friends Ben and Anisha. It was so fun being able to hang out with Anisha all day everyday like the good old days in SF!

They are so lucky they have a pool at their place. We took the kiddies there a couple of times and they LOVED it! Opal has so much blubber on her that she practically floats on her own. I think in this picture Jon was trying to get her feet to stay under the water but they kept on floating back up.

Anisha's baby Max......well I guess he isn't much of a baby anymore now that he is talking and running circles around Opal.

After the pool we would dry off over in the sport court. Opal would try to chase Max......never caught him though.

Oh yeah and have you ever tried to craw on that stuff with bare knees? It hurts...hence the downward dog position.

I was almost peeing my pants watching Max with his cool shades face.
