Frolf

One beautiful sunny afternoon Jon and I went frolfing aka frisbee golfing. It turns out that my hands are better off starting IVs than they are at throwing a frisbee. I'm not gonna lie...it was pretty pathetic. So, the point of the game is to get the frisbee into the basket thing in as many throws as possible...same concept as golf...but more exciting. The hard thing is, is that it is in the middle of the Golden Gate park where there are a bunch of huge trees in the way! Also I think the alignment is off on my arm because my frisbee was always going way over to the right. There were so many people on the course that sometimes we would catch up to the people in front of us...or the people behind us would catch up to us. I get kind of stage fright when othere people are watching me attempt to throw the frisbee...I'm sure it's pretty intertaining to watch me. So the hippies behind us were very intertaining to talk to.

China Camp

I have to take a picture every time I cross the Golden Gate Bridge...or in this case..."Jon. Hurry, take a picture it's so beautiful...no not through the windshield! Stick your head out the window!" For the most part this bridge has very low clouds/fog...this was such a wonderfully blue day!

Me, Jon, Anisha, Ben, and Jon went mountain biking at China Camp. It's north of San Francisco about 30 minutes away from our house. Starting the morning off biking was kind of difficult. We had a lot of bikes, so we had a trunk rack also with a couple of bikes on it. My bike was on the inside closest to the car. As we were driving there was a loud explosion...we couldn't figure out what it was. When we got to the place my bike's front tire, which was apparently sitting next to the exhaust pipe was melted through and exploded. The boys had to go to a bike shop and get me a new tire. It really slowed our morning down a lot. It was kind of funny though, and Jon got me a nice tire with some good tred...so in the end it worked out for the best!

So Jon, Jon and I were waiting at the bottom of a hill for the rest of our group and we saw a TON of little lizards. I think we spent about half and hour trying to catch one....The Jons ended up getting one. It was so cute! I was holding it on my arm and was trying to get it off of me. I don't think it wanted to leave becuase I was wearing black and was so warm. It just chilled on my butt...basking in the sun, for a good amount of time.

The same place we were chasing the lizards there was a dirt jump the Jons were going back and forth playing on it.

Yeah Anisha! So Anisha's bike was really crappy, she was such a trooper though and didn't complain......that much.

I love being outside with Jon!

We had so much fun the other weekend we went to Stanford to watch the men's volleyball play against BYU. BYU kicked Stanford's trash! I love watching men's volleyball...it's such a fast paced game and they are so good at faking and spiking and all thoes other volleyball terms that I don't know. Ben and Anisha

So this is the story...Jon and I were getting ready to go to the play/musical Wicked. Ben and Anisha invited us over before we left, to eat some dinner with them. If you know me at all...you would know the issues I have with spilling food all over myself ...every time I eat. Since we were going to the play a bit more fantsy shmancy...I didn't want to ruin what I was wearing. I got ready as much as I could...I put my tights on, did my hair and make up....and then I pulled on some jeans and a t-shirt on. I also threw on some socks over my tights so I could wear my shoes. When we got back to our place we had a few minutes to get completely ready...I quickly took of my jeans and t-shirt and put on my fancies...then I looked down. I had been walking around like this for quite some time before I realized. Jon didn't notice either...I'm glad I did't go to the play like this....that would have been an even better story!How could I not post this picture. #1. I knew I had a big mouth, but come on...You can see my tonsils! I guess I was really happy or warming up my beautifyl singing voice. #2. Well I guess Jon is the only one that looks normal in this pic. #3. Lisa looks the opposite of Diana....like: what you taking a picture now?

I couldn't resist taking a picture of this ceiling...even though we weren't supposed to take any pics in here. I was very sleuth and took these without a flash or looking at what I was shooting. You know....I had to look nonchalante...of course.

I know it's super dark, but this is how the whole inside looked. It was all carved out in cool designs. It looked to me like the ceiling's carvings were out of wood...I don't know for sure though.

Poppies

California poppies....these are right outside our place when I leave for work in the evening they are always open to say "hi" and when I come home in the morning they are all closed up and sleeping.

Back to SF

Jon is such a great husband! He let me sleep most of the way back while he drove! Poor Jon is so tired. Of course we had to stop by our traditional In-N-Out to get strawberry milkshakes and burgers.

Salt Flats

On the way back to San Francisco from Utah we stopped at the salt flats. They are so cool.

Funny story... there was this big huge puddle of water and Jon was convinced for some reason that it wasn't water and that it was salt...so he stepped in it to show to me that it wasn't water...he ended up ankle deep in a whole bunch of salt water. In Jon's defense it didn't really look like water, it looked kind of like blue salt.

So we have some freaking awesome friends...Thom and Denny threw us a party when we went home for spring break. So much fun...such great friends...

I was so happy to see so many of our friends all in one place at one time. Janae and Dave surprised us by coming down, Amy and Kory, Rick, Rob, Thom, Jessica, Natalie, and Denny. I am so grateful for the wonderful people I have gotten to know and will continue to keep in contact with FOREVER!
