Point Reyes

Our first backpacking trip. The Browning and Haynie family before our hike.

The hike was cool because it was through the mountains, but once in awhile we would pop out onto the coast.....sooo beautiful!

I love how everything was so green.

How cool is that view!

This was the night we arrived at our camp, which was right next to the beach. It happened to be a red tide, which was sooooo cool! I think we played for hours in the sand kicking it around and watching it glow....watching the florescent waves roll in. It was amazing! Later that night the guys tried to build us a fire...unfortunately all the wood we found was wet. This fire only lasted a couple of seconds....and that's only because it was soaked with lighter fuel. It was a warm few seconds though.

On the hike back we stopped at the rope swing and jumped into the refreshing lake. This first picture is me jumping...I'm such a weakling I could barely hang onto the rope.

This is my Jon....obviously not a weakling.
