My friend Rischel and I went to the Pacifica beach to hang out while our husbands surfed. It was super warm up by our house (side note: super warm to me is now 70's) so I threw swimsuits on me and Opal and headed out the door......it was so cold and windy by the beach. I felt like such a bad mom without even having a blanket to wrap around Opal...so instead I put everything on her that I had in the diaper bag. This is what she ended up looking like. She basically looks like a baby nerd.

When we lived in S.F., we saw a shirt that said, "My coldest winter was my summer in San Francisco". It's always surprisingly cold there.
