We had a girls night out with my best friends who I miss so much! We all have four eyes! (Jessica is the one taking the pic)

Hung out with prego Ashley! You are so cute pregnant!

I got to hang out with best old pal Jessica.

I got to spend a lot of time with my sister Rachel and my niece Zoë. Zoë has gotten so big!!!

I don't have any pics of my sister....I don't know how that happened.

Fort Bragg

This is in Fort Bragg. It was very chilly, but beautiful.

Corin

Benisha

There was the coolest thing....this place is where they used to dump a bunch of glass and now it is a whole beach of shinny rounded glass.

These are some of the other dental students we went with.

My Second Half-Marathon

I accomplished my second half-marathon in 2 weeks. I would never have thought I could ever have done this….but I did! I even cut off 9 min and ran it in 2 hours! It was the Nike Women’s run and since I wasn’t able to get into the race that was in the city I signed up for the virtual race. As long as you have Nike Plus, which is a little chip I put on my shoe and then records it to my Nano iPod. Then I plug my Nano into my computer and it uploads onto my Nike account. So, since we went camping on the weekend that I was supposed to run the half-marathon, I ran it in Fort Braggs. It was the most beautiful run I have ever done! Jon was so cute and supportive and drove the car to meet me at mile 3, 6, 9, and 11. He gave me water and energy sports beans.

Starting my warm up run. It was freezing when I started.

This is mile 3 and 8.

I had told Jon, Ben, and Anisha how I have always wanted to finish a race and run through the ribbon thing at the end. It was so funny when I came around the corner at the end of the run, Jon and Ben were holding a stick for me to cross through.

I wear orthotics, because I have really flat feet. They help so much with my joints, but unfortunately they give me the worst blisters! This was probably the worst part of the run.

Camping

Jon and I were invited to go camping with a bunch of dental students. It was freezing. Luckily we had a warm fire to snuggle up to. We went about 3 hours north to Fort Bragg. It was so beautiful there!

Benisha

Jon and Ben carving their marshmallow roasting sticks.

Mmmmmm marshmallows.

We put our tent next to Benisha so we could talk but stay warm in our tents.

Dental Study Group

While the girls were together having craft night, the boys got together and made some teeth. Dan who is a D2 helped Jon, Jon, and Jason.

This is Jon's handy work. Tooth that has a pink color to it is the one that he made out of wax. It looks really hard to do. I am so proud of him!

Catch Phrase

I think that Catch Phrase is one of our favorite games right now. It is really fun to play girls against boys....the girls usually win.
