Have I mentioned lately how I love where we live? I love the green plushness, the fog, the sun shining through the fog, the beach. Jon goes mountain biking in Marin County often and he is always talking about how awesome it is there. We decided to take a hike with the Haynies through the prettiness. As we were driving up the mountain I had to pull over because the sun was coming through the trees in such a unbelievable way…..ok I can’t put it into words, just look at the pictures.
Can you believe it? 
I know....I'm an awesome photographer... And very modest. 
How rad is this? These lady bugs were all over the place! I don't know if they were trying to keep warm by cuddling or what, but they were cute.
I don't know why but I thought all the mushrooms/fungi were so cool looking and colorful!
This is the second banana slug I have encountered since living in SF! I think it's cute. It reminds me of Shrek.

After we were done with our hike, we decided to go down to the beach. When we got down there, I looked back up at the mountain we had just climbed and this is what it looked like. Hint: the mountain is inside that fog cloud. 
Yes, this is my sexy beard man husband....I'm so lucky!

wow-National Geographic should hire you for one of their photographers!!!! I am so glad you love where you live. We never got over to the San Francisco side enough when we lived there but did go camping with you and Rachel a couple of times in the Redwoods.
